KOCKS: VIBRATION DAMPER FOR CONTAINER BRIDGES

An innovation from Kocks is the vibration damper for container bridges.

Load swing makes for longer handling times and is caused by vibration of the crane structure. A container may not be set down in a specific location until the spreader is at rest.

An active vibration damper on the shoreside boom of a container bridge provides perfect compensation of undesirable structural vibrations. Load swing on the spreader is minimized, and containers can be accurately set down without delay.
