ARDELT
Ardelt is a company with great tradition. Founded in 1902, the Ardelt works manufactured slewing cranes, mobile cranes and railway cranes as well as portal cranes already in the 1930ies. They had always been intact and successful, even in times when the owners and names changed. Their name was "VEB Kranbau Eberswalde" from 1958 and they were part of the TAKRAF group and the harbor cranes were sold under this name. After the German reunification, they operated under the name "KE Kranbau Eberswalde".
Since the year 2008, Ardelt is working again under their original name – and has also reinforced resp. re-introduced the traditional product names.
This company is still specialized in the field of double jib level luffing cranes in standard design, as so called Kangaroo crane with integrated hopper and, worldwide unique, as mobile crane. Furthermore, Ardelt has developed and built Balancer cranes.
Ardelt is the world market leader for double girder level cranes. The technical basis, the double jib level luffing patent, is permanently being developed.
